Who is suitable
Talking therapies are for all sorts of people.  It really does not matter if you are young or old, heterosexual, gay or lesbian, black or white or from an ethnic minority community, working, middle or upper class
What sort of issues can be helped
Essentially any issues that arise out of day to day living can be addressed in therapy.
Relationship difficulties, depression, bereavement, stress, anxiety, past events that cause difficulties in the present, family issues, low self-esteem, addictions, marital problems, redundancy, retirements, chronic or terminal illness, abuse, traumatic stress, obsessions and compulsions, work problems, sexual problems, weight problems, suicidal feelings, eating disorders, seasonally affected disorders, anger…. The list is endless.  If you feel you have an issue that is affecting you then chances are that seeing a counsellor may help.
