Text Box:
Confidentiality
All sessions are treated as confidential and information will not be shared with other agencies or individual except is exceptional circumstances.  Where ever possible this would be discussed with the client and undertaken with their full knowledge and, if possible, their agreement
The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) produces a code of ethics and practices.  As a general member of the BACP I follow these ethics of practice.

Supervision
Counsellors are required to have their work supervised by another therapist.  Any information discussed in supervision is shared in such a way as to protect the identity of clients or those associated with them.
My supervision is in accordance with the BACP recommendation.  This states that all counsellors must have ongoing supervision on a regular basis.  My supervisor also follows the BACP’s code of ethics and confidentially is paramount.
